INEC Begins Testing Of Card Readers Ahead Of Elections (Photos)

The leadership of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC is preparing massively for the 2019 general election which is expected to be competitive.

PoliticsNGR has gotten photographs of INEC officials testing Card readers ahead of the Osun state Gubernatorial Elections.

The Osun elections are scheduled to hold on September 24, 2018. The national chairman of the Ruling AP, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun, has said that the party will do everything possible to win the elections.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the party’s National Executive Committee meeting on Tuesday at its national secretariat, Oyegun said it was important for the party to win the elections in those states as they will be an indicator of the outcome of the 2019 general elections.

Meanwhile, there are controversies surrounding the election time-table with the senate pushing for a change.
