Okam allegedly accused his son of running a suspicious business which he personally felt is not genuine and could not support his flamboyant and grandiose lifestyle with his genuine business.
Okam said ‘he has persistently demanded from me the documents to all my landed properties for him to take over and retire met the village against my wish.
‘he has openly and allegedly identified with my enemies and financially supported those that areopposing my coronation as the new traditional ruler of Enugu-Agidi after being validly selected.
‘ Also, he boasted that he will financially induce the rest of my children and kinsmen to chase away my new wife that I married after my death.’
Mr Okam has declared that henceforth, Mr. Nnamdi Joseph Okam, should no longer be regarded as his son.
